Van Mildert’s fashion statement

Fashion retailer Van Mildert is continuing to expand its portfolio of boutiques, opening a new store in Hull.

The retailer has invested over £300,000 in the 6,000 sq ft retail space within Hull’s Princes Quay Shopping Centre and has created 10 new retail jobs.

Van Mildert is part of the Delima Retail group of fashion stores, owned by brothers Eric and Cyril Williams.

It now has seven stores across the North East and North Yorkshire.

The others are in York, Harrogate, Durham, Darlington and Metrocentre Gateshead,

The new boutique includes designs by Burberry, Nudie Jeans, Maharishi, Vivienne Westwood, Hugo Boss, Belstaff and Evisu.

Mr Williams said: “We’re confident we have brought something new and exciting to the city, some of the strongest and most relevant fashion collections in the world.

“Since Delima bought Van Mildert in 2007, we have reinvigorated the brand and significantly grown the company.”
