Venari Group in Brighouse secures partnership with Max Verstappen's helmet manufacturer

Emergency vehicle specialist Venari Group has secured an exclusive partnership agreement with helmet manufacturer Schuberth for the firefighting sector.

Schuberth also makes safety helmets for motorcyclists and motorsport. Its helmets are worn by the likes of Formula One star Max Verstappen.

The company, which has produced EN 443-certified firefighting helmets for over 50 years, has selected Brighouse-based Venari Group as its UK and Ireland distributor. Venari has created a a new firefighting equipment sales, service, and customer support division.

Oliver North, CEO of Venari Group, says the partnership with Schuberth was a “very natural” fit.

“Pre-Venari, the team and I have supplied firefighting equipment to fire brigades since 2008, including over 80 per cent of the current UK firefighter helmets,” he said.

Mr North added: “The activation of our firefighting equipment department further solidifies our intention of being a high performing supplier to the UK fire and rescue market whilst continuing to build our emergency vehicle range to the highest quality possible.”

Venari’s partnership will concentrate of Schuberth’s F300 helmet.

Mr North said: “The UK fire and rescue service are equipped to a very high standard in terms of structural firefighting PPE, but with more frequent wildland firefighting, road traffic collisions and water rescues, the F300 provides the ultimate flexibility as a rescue and wildland helmet.”

Venari was launched by Mr North earlier this year. It is the is the parent company of O&H Vehicle Technology, which manufactures ambulances.
