Viridas’s chairman steps down

Stanley Wootliff’s departure follows the decision to switch the company’s focus from growing jatropha plants, in Brazil, to become a natural resources investment vehicle.

Nicholas Lee, non-executive director, said: “The board of the company would like to thank Stanley Wootliff and those directors who stepped down on April 28, for their efforts in successfully steering the company through a difficult period, and wish them all well in their future endea- vours.”
