Weather forces Marshalls to shut paving site

MARSHALLS is hopeful of winning work on converting the Olympic Park in East London at the end of the Paralympic Games.

The group’s work for the 2012 Olympics totalled £10m and included supplying the Athletes’ Village with paving and landscaping products.

It also supplied the Games with concrete and natural stone products from sites including Bedfordshire and Halifax, plus about five million paving blocks to the Northern Spectator Transport Mall to form a coach park.
