Weather Lottery boss stands down

FUNDRAISING company The Weather Lottery said today its managing director is to step down because of ill health.

The Doncaster-based on-line lottery and gaming company said Keith Millhench has resigned from the board.

TWL said the management and running of the lottery business will not be affected. Kevin Young, who has worked alongside Mr Millhench, for the last 13 years, has been named chief technical manager to run the business.

TWL also said it had begun the process of identifying a new chief executive as it develops its established lottery business and its emerging gaming activities.

Meanwhile, Religare Capital Markets, have been appointed joint brokers alongside SVS Securities to help with the firm's development.

TWL also said it is in negotiations with potential clients and hopes to make announcements in the "near future".
