This is why four million drivers will be paid £25 refund by motor insurance company by end of May

A motor insurance company have revealed they are set to give back £110m to car and van policy holders by the end of May.

Motor insurer Admiral has said it will give back £110 million to all its car and van policyholder -, refunding £25 for each of the 4.4 million vehicles covered as lockdown is expected to see claims plunge.

The group said the refunds will be made by the end of May for all cars and vans covered as at April 20 to “reflect that there have been fewer cars on the road during the lockdown”.

This includes waiving all motoring claim excess fees for NHS or emergency service workers, and guaranteeing cover for customers using their vehicle to transport people, deliver medical supplies and equipment, or items to people who are self-isolating.
