Winterhill Largo names new head of national debt recovery division

Asset recovery and insolvency support group Winterhill Largo has promoted Nathan McQueen as head of operations at its expanding Wakefield-based national debt recovery division. Mr McQueen, who has been promoted from his role as head of collections, has worked for the company for four years.

Law firm Squire Sanders is promoting a senior associate to the partnership. Peter Morley, a senior associate in the Leeds taxation & benefits team, is one of 17 lawyers to be admitted into the global partnership.

Law firm DWF has recruited Matthew Brown as an associate partner in its banking and finance team. Mr Brown joins the Leeds-based firm from Pinsent Masons. It follows a number of appointments to the banking and finance group across the UK.

Law firm Dickinson Dees has strengthened its litigation team with the appointment of Nick Mason as a partner in the commercial disputes group. Mr Mason joins Dickinson Dees, which is moving its Yorkshire office from York to Leeds, from the National Trust, where he was a disputes lawyer.

A new management team has taken the helm at Rotherham Volkswagen. Ray Barlow will head up the business, which is part of the Gilder Group, after working for the group for 10 years. Simon Allen has been appointed service manager and Andrew Talbot as sales manager.

Law firm Hethertons has appointed Elizabeth Matfin as a senior associate solicitor to its family law department. She joins the York firm following roles at Hempsons in Harrogate and Eversheds in Leeds.
