Workshops set to provide firms with some food for thought

Help is available for small food producers looking to grow into bigger businesses in 2012.

A series of workshops, which are funded by the York, North Yorkshire and East Riding Local Enterprise Partnership and organised by deliciouslyorkshire, aims to equip micro businesses in the food sector with the insights and skills required to grow their business and particularly to secure contracts with larger retailers and supermarkets.

The full day workshops are being held at Askham Bryan College, York, from January 25. Each workshop is priced at £150 plus VAT (£125 each if more than one is booked) for businesses in the LEP region.
