WYG celebrates Balkans' contract

A LEEDS engineering consultancy is celebrating its biggest ever international contract after securing work on the second phase of a massive European Union funded project in the war-torn Western Balkans.

WYG will help restore and upgrade transport, environment and energy infrastructures in the four-year, 15.3 million euro programme.

It follows work done on the 15.1m euro first phase of the project. The company said the two projects combined represent its largest international programme of work.
