Yorkshire and Clydesdale banks help KPMG employees get a foothold on London property ladder
KPMG has joined forces with Yorkshire and Clydesdale banks to help its employees get a foothold on the London property ladder.
A spokesman for Yorkshire and Clydesdale said the initiative was part of a new employee benefits package at the Big Four accountancy firm.
Simon Collins, KPMG’s UK chairman, told the Financial Times that owning a home is “fast becoming a fairytale for all but society’s wealthiest”.

Hide AdHe said he is raising the issue with policymakers and clients.
A spokesman for Yorkshire and Clydesdale told The Yorkshire Post: “We are offering them a rate which we believe is competitive.
“It will be up to employees to decide if that’s a product they wish to take.”
