Yorkshire firms can find a world of opportunities

THE Enterprise Europe Network, created by the European Commission, provides free support to Yorkshire & Humber companies wishing to make the most of the European marketplace.

The network can help you develop your business in new markets, source or license new technologies and access EU funding. The initiative covers more than 50 countries representing the largest business support network in the world. In partnership with The Yorkshire Post, Enterprise Europe is providing a regular list of opportunities for Yorkshire companies through a new column. Here is this week’s selection of business opportunities:

A Slovenian SME has developed an indoor moisture eliminating device which reduces humidity in buildings. The system uses technology based on electro-osmosis and reduces or eliminates capillary moisture, by emitting an electro-magnetic impulses that cause water to recede from the walls by changing polarity of water. A commercial agreement with technical assistance or a joint venture is sought.

A French SME specialising in cosmetics is looking for a laboratory or SME which will be able to manufacture its products.

A Chinese company is looking for an overseas advanced printing technology research and development centre, or company, for cooperation on technology transfer and project incubation.

The partner should have experience of advanced technologies. The Chinese company is interested in technical and research cooperation.

A Russian company has developed an electrochemical supercapacitor that makes use of highly-porous materials on various forms of carbon. The company is looking for license agreements and research and technical cooperation.

A Spanish company has developed a new system for fire extinction from helicopters and other aircrafts, that avoids continuous dipping for water from lakes and dams. The technology consists of a crane mechanism linked through a hose to a water tank, that are placed inside the helicopter.

The fire extinction is safer, more efficient and reduces costs and time. The company would like to sign a license agreement.
