Chefs offer tastings at Yorkshire show home

Local developer Bridge Homes has opened the doors of its show home at ThornesGate, on Horbury Road.

The launch event featured cookery demonstrations and tastings from local Chef Liam Duffy, of Iris and Casa Loca, in the show home’s high spec kitchen and visitors were able to take a tour of the four bedroom Avoncliffe while the kids were entertained with colouring competitions.

Visitors complemented the space available compared to other new build properties and the high specification of the houses which comes as standard.

Bridge Homes is delighted to exclusively develop the former Redcats site on Horbury Road and has plans to build 96 of two, three and four bedroom homes, the first of which will be available to move in to in the New Year.

The Avoncliffe show home is part of the developer’s Classic Collection but the site will also include a number of unique, contemporary homes known as the Linea Collection. The first Linea show home will be available to view from early 2018.

Ewa Jasinska-Davidson bought a Bridge home on the developer’s first site at St Swithins. She said: “The moment I stepped on to the development I fell in love! The whole team has been amazing. We adore our house and everyone who has visited has complemented it. From beginning to end, everyone at Bridge Homes has been so helpful. Everyone wants to make your dreams come true.”

Lisa Lucas, Bridge Homes Sales Manager, said: “We are very pleased with the success Bridge Homes has had to date. ThornesGate is a really exciting one for us because we are introducing a number of new house types, as well as an entirely new Linea Collection. These homes are like nothing else being built nearby and they’ve been very popular, with people reserving off plan. I’d urge anyone that’s considering buying in the area to visit ThornesGate and see what’s on offer.”
