Video: Horns of a challenge for young bookworms in York
ERIC Bloodaxe is challenging young readers in York to bone up on their history, in a new book challenge.
The Viking character is inviting young bookworms to read four books on a history theme, in return for the chance to meet children’s authors.
Jane Stockdale, Head of Audience Development for Jorvik, said “I am delighted we are running this challenge again and working with libraries across York. It has proved extremely popular with young readers, and we hope encourages everyone to make the most of the fabulous resources of their local library.”
