World-class lab scheme

A YORKSHIRE university is to invest £21m on “world-class” laboratories and teaching space at a new engineering graduate school building.

Sheffield University will begin building work on the site in Broad Lane in the city in November and aim to have it completed in August 2013.

The site will then become the centre of the faculty’s postgraduate research and teaching activities.
