Child obesity letters toned down after complaints from parents
A YORKSHIRE mother warned that the letter telling parents their children is overweight could leave young people prone to eating disorders.
She voiced concerns last month after her 11-year-old daughter Katie Lee was described as being overweight. Mother Emma, from Harrogate, said: “It’s just ridiculous, she’s tall and slim, far from overweight. They tell you she is overweight when obviously she’s not.”
