Health battle made me love magic again, says Dynamo

The diagnosis is "particularly dangerous and very real" for the star, he said, because he has underlying health worries.

He has Crohn's disease and resulting arthritis.

Speaking in his video post, he said: "This illness can affect anyone, it doesn't discriminate and it can present itself in many different ways. We are all genuinely at risk.

"Now touch wood, my symptoms have been gradually decreasing day-by-day and I've been feeling better and better.

"And hopefully I'm through the worst of it and I'm staying positive."

He also wrote in the post: "It’s been a bit of a rough couple of weeks so wanted to give you an update. As you know I’ve had some health issues over last few years and underlying conditions make this virus particularly dangerous and very real.

"I’m incredibly relieved to be over the worst of it but wanted to let you all know what’s been happening. Please take this virus seriously and remember that by staying home, you are protecting so many others."

It was reported just last night that Frayne said getting arthritis is the "worst thing that can happen to a magician" after developing the condition.

The TV magician got arthritis after suffering complications resulting from Crohn's disease.

The magician, 37, has previously said that his illness left him at times unable to shuffle cards.

He became ill from food poisoning, combined with his Crohn’s disease, and ended up in hospital as a result, telling fans that the side effects included “a bad type of arthritis that’s affected all the joints in my body”.
