Cases of coronavirus confirmed at Morrisons' food production site

A small number of Covid-19 cases have been confirmed at a manufacturing site that produces food for Morrisons.

Farmer's Boy, off Cemetery Road in Bradford, produces bacon and sausage, cooked meats, fruit and savoury pies and quiches, mince and cheese for the supermarket chain.

More than 1,000 people work at Farmer's Boy in Bradford.

There are also Famer's Boy sites in Winsford, Cheshire and Deeside, North Wales.

In total the three sites produce around 4,000 tonnes of food per week with a workforce of more than 2,500.
