Daily figures confirm no coronavirus deaths reported in Yorkshire hospitals

There has been no further coronavirus deaths in Yorkshire hospitals, according to the latest figures.

NHS England data released on Tuesday, September 8 confirmed that no patients who have tested positive for Covid-19 have died in hospitals in the region.

Eight people died outside the region.

One person died in the east of England, one person died in the north east and six people died in the north west region.

Patients were aged between 43 and 92 years old.

All had known underlying health conditions.

The total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England is 29,619.

NHS England publishes the number of patients who have died in hospital and tested positive for COVID-19 in England.

Since Tuesday, April 28 NHS England and NHS Improvement also reports the number of patient deaths where there has been no COVID-19 positive test result, but where COVID-19 is documented as a direct or underlying cause of death on part 1 or part 2 of the death certification process.
