There have now been 117 coronavirus deaths in Leeds hospitals according to statistics.

The figure of total deaths for the region has now passed 1,000 - with a total of 1037 deaths related to coronavirus according to latest figures.

The Department of Health says a further 888 people with COVID-19 have died in hospital bringing the total number of deaths to 15,464.
