Further 14 Covid deaths in Yorkshire

A further 14 patients have died at hospital in Yorkshire after testing positive for Covid-19, NHS England has confirmed.

NHS England releases updated figures each day showing the dates of every coronavirus-related death at hospitals in England, often including previously uncounted deaths that took place several days or even weeks ago.

The highest number of new deaths were recorded by The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust and Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, with four deaths at each trust.

There were also two deaths at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust and a single death at each of Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

The increase brings the total number of Covid-19 deaths recorded at hospitals in Yorkshire to 3,105.
