The location of every new Covid death recorded at Yorkshire hospitals as total rises by 12

A further 12 people have died at hospital in Yorkshire after testing positive for coronavirus, NHS England said on Sunday.

Four patients died at Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, three died at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and two patients died at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

One patient each died at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust and Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

It brings the total number of Covid-19 deaths recorded at hospitals in Yorkshire to 3,091.

A further 49 people who tested positive for coronavirus have died in hospital elsewhere in England, bringing the total number of confirmed deaths reported in hospitals to 30,971.

Patients were aged between 54 and 96. All but four patients, aged 56 to 92, had known underlying health conditions.

The deaths were between October 4 and 17.

Four other deaths were reported with no positive Covid-19 test result.
