A further seventeen people have died in Yorkshire after testing positive for coronavirus.

NHS England confirmed the latest figures at 3pm on Monday.

The data is categorised into NHS hospital trusts rather than individual hospitals.

One person died at a hospital within Airedale NHS Foundation Trust on Saturday 28.

Two people died at hospitals in Bradford, one on Saturday and one on Sunday 29.

One person died in Hull on Saturday.

Four people died in Leeds on Saturday.

At Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, which runs hospitals in Wakefield, Pontefract and Dewsbury, one person died on Saturday and three people died on Sunday.

One person died in Sheffield on Sunday.

Four people died at South Tees Hospitals, which runs hospitals in Northallerton and Middlesbrough on Saturday.
