The You Tube film made by Emmie Jade Bennett-Price, who was 14 when she died in July after a battle with bone cancer, has proved such a hit it is raising cash for the Bluebell Wood Hospice at North Anston, Sheffield, where she spent her final days.

In the video, the youngster from Worksop is shown miming to singer Ed Sheeran’s song Drunk, pulling faces and acting out her own take on the work.

She was diagnosed with the condition last year after she fractured her shoulder doing a cartwheel at school.

After undergoing physiotherapy for the fracture, a lump appeared on her arm the size of an egg and scans later revealed that it was a cancerous sarcoma.

The teenager, who attended Wales High School, underwent two rounds of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

One of her final wishes was to become a You Tube star and have her own channel so her family posted her video online which has already had more than 4,000 hits. As well as fulfilling her last wish, they are keen to raise money for the hospice and are asking supporters to spare any change they can after watching her video.

Her mother Katie Bennett said: “This is a video of Emmie while in hospital after her diagnosis last year. This is typical Emmie, always upbeat and entertaining even when she felt so ill.”

Emma Vizor, fund-raiser at the hospice, said: “Emmie was such a beautiful, fun-loving young lady and this video really shows her sense of humour.”
