Public urged to have say on services

NHS Vale of York Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is drawing up its plans for the next five years.

Officials are using local evidence and feedback from discussions with patients, the public, and NHS and other partners to set out priorities to improve health services.

Rachel Potts, chief operating officer for the CCG, said: “It is important for the CCG to identify and understand community need; which is why we are taking the lead to develop conversations that are owned locally.

“The CCG has arranged significant and meaningful public involvement events which will pave the way for open and honest discussions, helping to plan for the future.”

Meetings will be held at the at the West Offices in York at 4.30pm tomorrow and at The Galtres Centre in Easingwold at 2pm on Thursday.
