'Truly inspirational' - Your messages of support for Captain Tom Moore

Yorkshire-born Captain Tom Moore has done the country proud by raising millions of pounds for the NHS by doing 100 laps of his garden.

The 99-year-old veteran has captured the hearts and minds of the nation in the last few days, showing his 'stoic Yorkshire nature' by doinghis bit to help raise funds for the NHS.

Born in Keighley, he trained as a civil engineer before enlisting in the Army for the Second World War, rising to captain and serving in India and Burma.

He now lives in Bedfordshire, where he was joined by the Yorkshire Regiment this morning to give him a guard of honour as he completed his 100th lap.
