Yorkshire cricketers bring festive cheer to youngsters on Leeds Children's Heart Unit

YORKSHIRE County Cricket Club players including Jack Brooks, Alex Lees and Andrew Hodd handed out Christmas gifts to patients during a visit to Leeds Children's Heart Unit at Leeds General Infirmary.

Players from Yorkshire County Cricket Club, visited the Children's Leeds Congential Heart Unit to hand out gifts to the patients. The Children's Heart Surgery Fund are the club's current charity partner and this is the second year running the players have made such a visit. Andrew Hodd said: “You take your health for granted massively. You come somewhere like this and see the little kids fighting through some really serious conditions and they have still got smiles on their faces and they are beating their conditions, which is brilliant.”

Jack Brooks, said: “Any little thing we can do to help is fantastic.”
