9. Cliffe Castle
This castle was once the home of Henry Isaac Butterfield, a Victorian millionaire and Yorkshire industrialist. It was built in the 1880s and offers visitors a unique journey into the castle’s past with its beautifully restored features and renovated Victorian rooms, the building also has special galleries for natural history, archeology and social history too.
