Yorkshire has recently been awarded seven Michelin stars – the most since the UK restaurant guide started in 1974. To mark the occasion and to pay tribute to some of those people who have given so much during the coronavirus pandemic, The Yorkshire Post and five of the county’s Michelin-starred chefs want to honour those who have gone the extra mile to help others.

We are asking readers to nominate an NHS or key worker for one of five Michelin-starred prizes. It could be a doctor or a nurse, a care home worker, a teacher or someone in your community who has helped make a difference during these difficult times.

This wonderful gesture is kind recognition of everyone’s efforts.”
