Hummers prepare to get Morocco bound

Here’s a trip to remember, with connotations of Land Rover’s recession-hit G4 Challenge.

Continental Tyres is taking a five-day trip to Morocco for 14 teams of two, with flights, meals, four nights in luxury hotels and “a true Bedouin experience with a night camping under the stars”.

They will drive Hummers in the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert. There are three ways to enter: earning miles to get to the top of the Conti4x4Trophy website leaderboard, buying tyres at a participating outlet then being selected in a prize draw, or “tweeting” why you and your co-driver deserve to go.

The final selection will be at the Land Rover Experience, Gaydon, where skills and aptitude will be tested at off-road driving and a range of other activities.

The 14 teams from Britain and Eire will be chosen then and depart for Morocco on May 25. www.conti4x4trophy.co.uk
