On the grapevine

The International Wine and Food Society is a world-wide network of food and wine lovers who meet on a regular basis. But like all organisations, especially ones that have been around since 1933, it is time for a face-lift, and Leeds has been chosen as the place to give this venerable institution a more contemporary approach.

February 16 sees the relaunch of The International Wine and Food Society in Leeds at 3 Albion Place. There will be food and wine matching, with Stephanie Moon of Rudding Park creating the food and yours truly making sure the wines combine perfectly. Both Stephanie and myself are backing the IWFS on a voluntary basis because it is good to see like-minded food and wine enthusiasts get together. Tickets cost 20 and can be obtained by sending an email to [email protected].
