Just tasted

Morgon Les Charmes 2009 Beaujolais, Louis Latour, Majestic, normally 9.99 a bottle, now 8.99 on multibuy. This is a million miles away from the flavours of nouveau, there's the scent of violets on the nose, then raspberry and cherry fruit backed by enough earthy character and rounded tannins to make this good enough to go with lamb, pasta and grilled chicken. It will keep for another couple of years or so.
