On Thursday, October 14, The Halifax Wine Company will show wines from Italy, South Africa, Australia, Spain and France, with particular focus on the splendid 2009 Beaujolais vintage, at

York Wine Events

The York Food and Drink Festival runs this weekend with a Wine Fair in The Guildhall at noon and at 6pm. Tickets cost 15. There is also a winemaker Masterclass from Andrea Faccio from Villa Giada in Piemonte, also 15. The liquid delicatessen, Demijohn, based in Museum Street, York will be installed at Melton's Too this afternoon for a Liqueur Taste Workshop in association with Slow Food North Yorkshire.
