Restaurant rush! Harrogate's 2nd new eaterie of week to open

The second new restaurant of the week in Harrogate is to be launched as the 5 Albert Street building nears the point of beings completely completed - except for Everyman cinema, of course.

ASK Italian has confirmed it will be opening its new restaurant on Thursday, June 23 in the new buidings's Unit 7.

Part of a popular UK chain, a spokesperson said the restaurant would reflect the brand’s distinctive new look with a mix of classic Italian materials alongside the colour and texture of the Mediterranean, mixing warm natural furniture, striking tiling and trailing plants to capture that breezy, al fresco feeling.

ASK Italian’s managing director, Harry Heeley, said: “We’re delighted to be opening in Harrogate, and bringing the ASK Italian recipe of delicious, classic dishes, warm service and fresh design – all inspired by the best of Italy - to such a vibrant town. We can’t wait to open the doors to this beautiful restaurant”.

ASK specialises in classic Italian dishese created from the finest Italian-sourced ingredients – buffalo mozzarella from Campania, extra virgin olive oil made especially for ASK Italian from family olive groves in Puglia, and passata di pomodoro from Emilia Romagna.

Table reservations will be taken from June 23.

Also opening today in the same building will be Byron restaurant,

Everyman cinema is expected to open in September.
