Torres Via Sol Ros 2009, Spain, Booths, down from 6.39 to 4.39 until July 28. Lots of juicy, raspberry and cherry fruit in this dark pink wine made from Garnacha and Carinea grapes. Serve straight from the fridge to enjoy its thirst quenching flavours at their best.

Yaldara Shiraz 2008, South Australia, Tesco down from 8.99 to 4.99 from July 29 until August 3. A half price offer that is genuinely worth queuing up for. This is a deep flavoured, rich, blackberry and damson wine, with layers of spice and pepper. The shelves will be cleared in no time, so get there early next Thursday.
