The lush, deep flavours of this wine are simply sensational. Ripe and round with deep velvety red berry fruit. Terrific value.

Louis Jadot Beaujolais Villages 2008, Combe aux Jacques, Tesco down from 8.95 to 6.95 until June 22.

Delicious red berry and cherry fruit with touches of cherry stones and spice. Drink it at room temperature.

Oudinot Brut NV Champagne, Marks & Spencer down from 22 to 17 until July 1.

Consistent with yeasty flavours and a balanced structured finish; good enough for family celebrations.
