Interior designer Izzy Davison has used her skills to transform this country home in the picture postcard village of Nunnington.

She and her husband, Dan, bought the charming Grade II listed property in 2012 but didn’t move in until two years later after a major renovation.

“We fell in love with the house. It’s got such a lovely, homely feel to it but we did an extensive amount of work to it, which is why it took a long time to move in” says Isabel.

Along with new plumbing and wiring, they re-did the loft conversion, turned the small kitchen into a utility room and converted the dining room into a large kitchen and a boot room into a dining area with a glass roof.

The Davisons also commissioned built-in furniture for many of the rooms.

Teal House, which is in the sought-after Howardian Hills, has an entrance and staircase hall, sitting room, family room, kitchen dining room and a utility room. The first floor has two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a shower room. The second floor has two bedrooms and W.C.

Outside, there is a garden, outbuilding and shed. Izzy and Dan are selling to move to a home with land for horses.
