House prices in Yorkshire: the areas where average prices increased the most in the last year despite Covid crisis

House prices in Yorkshire have been increasing across most areas in spite of the coronavirus pandemic - which casued an unprecdented economic shock across the country.

Across the different council areas in Yorkshire, all of them saw an increase in house prices between September 2019 and September 2020, with Richmondshire the only area to see prices fall. The district saw a -0.9 per cent drop in the average house price from £241,731 to £239,592.

Barnsley, Hull and Calderdale all grew by less than one per cent, and here is how the rest of the Yorkshire areas fared.
