Scilla Siberica: Here's a little plant to bring a bit of colour to this time of year '“ Scilla Siberica, an early-blooming perennial that may just reach a height of eight inches. It's perfect for a small rock garden or fronting a border of mixed shrubs. Like many bulbs, it likes a well-drained, fertile, sandy soil and a place where it can make the most of the sun.
