The building’s character has been preserved but it has been brought up to date with new electrics, plumbing and insulation.

The comprehensive makeover also included new windows, floors, ceilings and bathrooms. What was an old lean to has been converted into a dining area and utility room.

The house, which is in the Low Mill area, has a kitchen, dining room, separate utility room with W.C. and a living room leading to the rear patio area.

Upstairs, there are three double bedrooms, one leading to an elevated patio area overlooking the river, an en-suite shower room and en suite bathroom.

The cottage has off-street parking and a single garage.
