Lidl launches anti-theft backpack boasting it's six times cheaper than competitors

Lidl has launched a range of anti-theft bags with security features to keep bank cards and valuables safe while on the go.

The new collection goes on sale today with prices starting from £6.99, which Lidl points out is six times cheaper than competitors on the market.It offers a range of sizes and styles, including a backpack, shoulder bag, handbag and cross-body bag, all with built-in security measures to keep money, electronic devices, bank cards and passport safe.Lidl highlights the 12.5L Anti-Theft Backpack, with hidden laptop, tablet and power bank compartments with concealed zips and no external compartments, offering increased safety. The water resistant backpack also has an integrated USB port for charging mobile devices and provides ergonomic weight distribution for comfortable carrying.Lidl highlights that its anti-theft range is six times cheaper than competitors, citing as a comparison in its press release a branded anti theft laptop backpack with USB charging port, now on sale at Amazon at £36.99. The new Lidl anti-theft range also includes: the Anti-Theft Handbag: W20 x H24.5 x D8cm - £6.99; the Anti-Theft Shoulder Bag: W15 x H32.5 x 5cm - £6.99; the Anti-Theft Cross Body Bag: W17 x H23 x D8cm - £6.99.The range of Anti-Theft Bags goes on sale today, May 16, available while stocks last.
