The hypoallergenic formula is paraben-free and so suitable for sensitive eyes, and there are 10 shades, including petrol blue. Each costs £6.99, launching today at Boots, Asos.com, Superdrug and stockists on 0800 269 836.

LAUNCHING next month, Lancome’s Hypnôse Doll Eyes mascara takes its inspiration from – wait for it – dolly’s eyes, with those separated, thick, long, “nylon shine” lashes, which it can now recreate thanks to a new style of wand and an all-new formula, delivering the ultimate lash fringe and beautifully wide-opened eyes.

The conical brush tip captures every lash, sculpting and lengthening, while the new formula is enriched with nylon powders to adorn lashes with a subtle sheen, with waxes to build volume and fix lash curve. It costs £20.50 on the Lancome counter next month at Harvey Nichols Leeds.
