For expert advice, Harvey Nichols Leeds is holding an in-store pre-summer event on Tuesday, May 17, from 6.30pm-9.30pm, when beauty therapists join the fitness team from Esporta Leeds for an evening of pampering, complimentary drinks, demos and tips on how to look and feel fabulous this summer. Body brushing is the all natural approach to healthy, smooth skin, especially around the troublesome hip and thigh area, where cellulite can linger stubbornly, no matter how much you diet and exercise. John Lewis’s Stimulating Body Brush has natural bristles on a long stem, curved brush to revitalise and energise the the skin, and a top tip from the in-store beauty team is to dry-brush stubborn areas every day before showering to improve circulation and keep cellulite at bay. It costs £8.50.

Boots Soltan range has been awarded five out of five stars for UVA protection across all its products, including the Once which gives up to eight hours’ protection from one application.
