To create such a look, he advises using Sebastian Thickefy Foam (£19) to blow dry the hair and create volume, then pull the hair back into a low ponytail, leaving some at the front. Spray with hair spray and, if using padding, wrap the ponytail around and tuck the ends away. Alternatively, twist it into a tight spiral, coil it around the base and secure with pins.
