Jeremy is turning 40 and struggles with the pace of his blossoming romance. He takes extreme measures to keep up, but Mark is determined to make him realise his age. Meanwhile, Mark’s job and love life hang in the balance, so he makes an audacious attempt to win the woman of his dreams. Jez and Super Hans try to help, but they only end up adding to his problems.

The Apprentice, BBC 1, 9pm

As the battle for the £250,000 investment reaches its end, the five remaining candidates must face the formidable interview process with four of Lord Sugar’s trusted advisors. Armed with CVs and business plans, advisors Claude Littner, Claudine Collins, Mike Soutar and new addition Linda Plant show no mercy as they question the entrepreneurs.

24 Hours in A&E, Channel 4, 9pm

Twenty-two-year-old motorcyclist Adam is brought into A&E after crashing into a car and being thrown 30 metres. He has possibly injured his neck and spine, and doctors are concerned that he may be at risk of losing a foot due to his severe leg injuries. Meanwhile, a 78-year-old former nurse arrives in St George’s after becoming dizzy at her sewing class and doctors worry she has had a stroke.
