11lb 12oz baby too big for her clothes
A mother who gave birth to an11lb 12oz baby girl had to wrap her newborn in a towel for the night until the shops opened because none of her new clothes would fit.
Mother-of-two Rebecca Johnson, 24, delivered her daughter Millie Sofia in just 90 minutes at York Hospital. “The midwife said she was the biggest baby she’d delivered in 22 years,” Mrs Johnson said. “My husband was very impressed. All those times I was moaning about my bad back were justified.”
