42nd Street cancelled at Bradford Alhambra today

THE performances of the musical 42nd Street at the Alhambra Theatre, Bradford, this afternoon and tonight have been cancelled because of an electrical problem at the theatre.

The show, at the theatre all week, was cancelled this afternoon when it became clear that the electrical faults at the theatre meant the show couldn’t go ahead.

Starring Dave Willetts and Marti Webb, the show was due to play at 2pm today and at 7.30pm tonight - both performances have been cancelled.

A spokesman for the theatre said: “We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

“Customers will be contacted by our sales staff for a full refund once power has been reinstated and systems are operational.”
