7/7 victim back for first time
A survivor of the 7/7 terrorist attack in London has returned to the city for the first time since the bombings to attend the Olympic Games.
Camille Scott-Bradshaw was badly injured in the bus bombing in Tavistock Square in July 2005 – a blast that killed her best friend.
Ms Scott-Bradshaw, from Lancashire, told ITV that Ken Livingstone promised the victims would get tickets to the Olympics. She had forgotten about it until the tickets arrived and decided to come back with her children for “something amazing the children and myself will remember”. She admitted to a “little wobble” as she contemplated her return.
