Academy makes good in first year
A Yorkshire school which just completed its first year as an academy has celebrated record A-level results.
Outwood Grange Academy, in Wakefield, had 19 A* grades and a 99 per cent pass rate.
Michael Wilkins, chief executive of the Outwood Grange Family of Schools, said: “Our students, parents, staff, the academy board and governors can be justifiably proud of the academy’s performance.”
