THE British husband of a woman who was murdered on honeymoon in South Africa plotted his wife's death, a court was told yesterday.

Anni Dewani, 28, from Sweden, was shot last month after being kidnapped while in a taxi with her new husband Shrien, from Bristol. The couple are pictured above.

South Africa's Western Cape High Court heard the taxi driver allege he was offered 15,000 rand (1,400) by Mr Dewani to kill his wife.
