Afghan women usher in new era

Newly-trained female officers of Afghan National Army take front seats as a new batch of officers attend their graduation ceremony at National Army's training center in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Nato hopes that the 29 recruits signal a new era in women's roles in the Islamic country, although their duties will be restricted.
